It emphasizes patient care, surgical anatomy, supplies and equipment needed, sequence of procedures, pathophysiology, diagnostic tests, preoperative and postoperative care, and complications of surgical procedures. Prerequisites: SUR 1101, 1102, 1103, 1111, 1112, 1123, and 1213.
