This course is a concentrated study of Radio/Television theory with an emphasis on signal transmission, including the study of radio-frequency amplifiers, basic transmitters, amplitude modulation, frequency modulation, antennas, measuring frequency, standard broadcast stations, microwaves, and FCC radio-telephone regulations. Study and preparation for the FCC general license will form an integral part of this course. Prerequisite: ET 2254 or permission from the instructor.
