This is a computer-based algebra course for those students that need additional practice of algebra skills before enrolling in MAT 1223 College Algebra. All assignments will be completed in the computer classroom with instructor assistance as needed. Additional lab hours will be available to enable students to complete assignments. It covers the topics of linear equations and inequalities, graphs and functions, polynomials and factoring, rational expressions, radicals, complex numbers, and quadratic equations. Prerequisites: CP 0633 with a "C" or better or MAT 1002 with a "C" or better or MaACT of 15-20.
