This one-hour lab course is required of students enrolled in CP 0613 Math. It provides students the opportunity to practice the skills they are learning in the lecture class. Through this lab experience, students develop their abilities to solve problems involving whole numbers, fractions, decimals, ratio and proportion, percents, and rational numbers. Students complete course assignments (readings, workbook pages, computer modules, etc.) on their own with assistance from the lab instructor or assistants. Most of the course work is completed in the lab with a minimal amount of take-home work. This course is held in the College Preparatory Lab in the Learning Assistance Center. Co-requisite: CP 0613.
