This course is designed for individuals enrolled in technical programs requiring a general knowledge of welding, individuals whose job requires occasional welding applications, or individuals who want a general knowledge of welding. This course is not designed to teach welding as a means of artistic expression. It will cover the fundamentals, safety precautions, and shop practices related to oxyacetylene welding and cutting, and basic shielded metal arc welding (stick).
