The third in a series of courses dealing with Object Oriented Programming, this course develops an advanced level of understanding of object oriented technology. Topics include design patterns, application frameworks, and n-tiered architectures. Students learn a systematic methodology for developing successful software projects written either by an individual or by a team. Also, the design process will use UML methodologies. Prerequisite: CIS 2743. Pre- or co-requisite: CIS 2663.
