This course prepares students for the Cisco Remote Access certification examination, the second of four tests leading to the CCNP Certification Examination. The basis of this course is the Cisco Networking Academy CCNP 2 Remote Access curriculum and it course also introduces students to the implementation of Cisco routers in WAN applications, focusing on the selection and implementation of the appropriate Cisco IOS services required to build intranet remote access links. Students will develop skills with the specific WAN technologies of analog dialup, ISDN BRI and PRI, Frame Relay, broadband, and VPN. This course will typically be offered in the evening based on demand and is geared toward network professionals working toward CCNP certification. Prerequisite: CIT 2213 or current CCNA Certification.
