This course studies and provides extensive hands on troubleshooting of video receivers and imaging equipment, including power supplies, tuners, IF amps, video amps, sound circuits, color circuits, sweep circuits, cathode ray tubes, flat screens, remote control circuits, and antennas. Students complete maintenance log sheets and acquisition of parts, demonstrate proper customer relations, and demonstrate the proper use of technical resource materials, tools, and test equipment. Prerequisite: ET 1024 or permission of instructor.
