Description:

The course develops an intermediate level of understanding of object oriented programming. Design Patterns combine the object oriented technologies taught in CIS 2653 into reusable solution patterns commonly used in real world business applications. This course teaches comprehension of a number of the design patterns described by the Gang of Four (GoF) in their seminal book entitled Design Patterns. Equally important, by studying professional coding patterns, students begin to learn how to analyze programming problems from an object oriented paradigm. Software: C#.Net. Prerequisite: CIS 2653 or permission of instructor.
