In order to improve network and internet communications, Microsoft has introduced the Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) with the Windows Vista operation system. WCF defines a unified programming model for a variety of types of communication. This course creates and uses web services, which allows data to be transmitted across a network or across the internet. Pre- or co-requisite: CIS 2883 or permission of instructor.
