Surgical Transcription will include a comprehensive study of surgical techniques, instruments, and operative procedures by body system and a continuation of laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures that includes advanced medical imaging procedures and anatomic pathology. This course will include physician-dictated surgery reports organized by medical specialty. Prerequisites: passing grade of "B" or higher in ALMT 236 or permission ofinstructor.
