This course is designed to examine general aspects of air and space power through a historical perspective. This course covers a time period from the first balloons and dirigibles to the space-age global positioning systems of the Persian Gulf War. Historical examples are provided to extrapolate the development of Air Force competencies and functions. This course is equivalent to AERO 2310 at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and is scheduled only at the University. Prerequisites ROTC 1310 and ROTC 1320 Co-requisites OTC 1300 must be taken in conjunction with this course. ROTC 2310 is offered in Fall quarter only.
