Dimensioning techniques are presented that apply to manufactured products. Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing are introduced and used in the selection and application of dimensions. The micrometer, caliper and other precise measuring instruments are employed to measure actual manufactured products. Fits and allowances, and current ANSI standards are examined.
