This course is designed to explore the features of Microsoft Word to create, design, and produce professional documents. Emphasis is placed upon character, paragraph and document formatting. The student explores features such as tables, columns, labels, envelopes, outlines, styles, borders, shading, AutoFormat and templates. The student learns to enhance the visual display and clarity of documents by using various customizing and enhancing features. In addition, working with multiple documents, basic file management techniques, inserting graphic elements, and exploring the development of web pages are covered.
