Principles of Physics I is the first half of algebra based college physics sequence. The course will be taught as three courses which include lecture and lab. All courses must be taken to transfer as a semester length course. Topics include: kinetic theory, heat and thermodynamics. Prerequisites PHYS 110B Principles of Physics I and II are each taught as a three course sequence. ALL three courses must be successfully completed to transfer as a semester length course. Students are strongly encouraged to stay with the same instructor throughout their physics series of 5-week sessions.
