This course looks at interface design from the perspective of content, page, site, screen and visual design. The student learns the fundamentals of design and gains practical experience with visual layout. The student explores typography and color theory in regard to their use on the web, computer screens, and in a variety of commercial settings. The course serves as an introduction to usability principles and user-centered interface design.
