This segment introduces students to the study of how human relations helps achieve career success and increased work/life balance. The course examines strategies for improving personal and workplace communications, identification of personal communication styles, how language and cultural differences may create barriers to effective communication, approaches for creating a professional presence, self-esteem building, and professional ethics. The modular courses HMRL 101A, HMRL 101B, and HMRL 101C may be taken in any order and are (in combination) equivalent to HMRL 1010. Course is offered On-line
