This is the first course in a sequence of four courses that provides an introduction to Emergency Medical Care, the modules in the first session provide knowledge of EMS systems, roles and responsibilities and well being of the paramedic. Students must successfully pass this course and immediately continue and complete Paramedic parts 2, 3 and 4. Prerequisites Must be 18 years of age, must have high school diploma or GED, must have current EMT-B certification
