The student internship program places the student in a working and learning environment to receive on-the-job training in a particular field of study before graduation. To develop an internship to meet his/her academic and career goals, the student must work with the faculty internship coordinator to secure a job in a related field. The student prepares a portfolio based on the successful completion of the HIMS program. Based on state guidelines, students must complete 40 hours of work for each credit hour. For the HIMS program, the student completes 160 hours of work in this course. Prerequisites Instructor approval
