This course focuses on the visual and technical aspects of paint/raster software. The student acquires a basic technical understanding of computer graphics and a basic technical vocabulary. Paint software is learned through a set of projects that require creative solutions and reinforced drawing and design elements and principles. Principles of 2-D animation are explored. Corel Painter is the primary software. Photoshop is also used.
