This course is a continuation of the introductory topics presented in EIMA 1310 with exploration of the techniques of modeling, material definition, and animation that are the foundation of 3-D graphics for motion pictures or games. It emphasizes 3-D character creation, materials, and motion control that may be introduced into a more finished animation in EIMA 2320 Animation II or 3-D game in EIMA 1220 Interactive Authoring I.
