This course introduces students to writings by and about women. Students will read a variety of writings (short stories, poetry, essays, plays) while studying the social, cultural, economic, and political influences that have impacted women throughout literary history. Students will respond to these writings analytically, creatively, and personally. Prerequisites ENGL 1020 or ENGL 1240
