Plant disorders, including environmental, bacterial, viral and fungal are studied, with emphasis on the identification of symptoms, causes, prevention and control. This course includes both lecture and lab components. Prerequisites familiarity with gardening and ornamental plants and completion of a recent introductory biology cou Co-requisites HORT 1100 and at least one HORT plant identification course, BIOS 1410 and BIOS 1420 Non-horticulture program students taking BIOS 2410 and BIOS 2510 should have a familiarity with gardening and ornamental plants as well as having taken a recent introductory biology course. BIOS 2410 and BIOS 2510 are not sequential courses. These classes can be taken successfully in any order.
