This beginning class is introductory in nature. It deals with many of the basic elements of the auto repair trade. Items covered are safety, chemicals, fasteners, micrometers, tires, lubrication, cooling systems, bulb replacement, fluid changes, belts and manuals. Individualized hands-on laboratory training utilizing live work is included in this course. Prerequisites Mechanical Aptitude Test, Hands-on Nuts/Bolts Test and test into college level math (MATH 1240); con Course is offered as a hybrid online/classroom
