The fundamentals of automotive computers and their relationship with sensor inputs and actuator outputs are studied along with advanced diagnostics procedures of electronic body electrical systems. Disassembly, testing, servicing and reassembling of starters and alternators are practiced. The design, operation and testing of anti-lock brake and transaction control systems are also studied in this course. Individualized hands-on laboratory training utilizing live work is included in this course. Prerequisites AUTT 1210 or Instructor approval Course is offered as a hybrid online/classroom
