(3 class hrs/wk, 3 cr) F/W/Sp/Su Introduces students to the study skills needed to be successful in a community college. These include note taking, reading and studying textbooks, using the library, time management, and preparing for and taking tests. These skills are taught in combination with understanding attitude, motivation, and student behavior. Prerequisite: Appropriate reading competence as indicated by Computerized Placement Test.
