(4 class hrs/wk, 3 cr) W This course is designed to develop skills in programming PLC's. Students will learn to convert common industrial control circuits to PLC ladder logic as well as create programs from narrative description. Special emphasis will be placed on interfacing the PLC with a selection of electro-pneumatic control devices. A systemic approach to testing and troubleshooting PLC programs will also be covered. Prerequisite: MT 3.824 Programmable Logic Controllers.
