(2 class hrs/wk, 2 cr) F An in-depth study of dental terminology as it relates to normal anatomy, physiology and histology of the teeth and associated structures, their embryological development and histological characteristics, the function of oral structures. The universal numbering system for individual teeth is used in extensive detail, surfaces and comparison of similarities and differences of all teeth. Prerequisite: Admission to the Dental Assistant Program.
