Students increase their knowledge of child development and learning environments, begin planning and implementing curricula, and develop skills in guidance and discipline. Prerequisite: ED 101 Observation and Guidance. Recommended: HDFS 225 Child Development or HDFS 248 Learning Experiences for Children or ED 152 Creative Activities/Dramatic Play or ED 179 Literature, Science and Math or ED7.730 Early Childhood Ages and Stages.
