The student learns the fundamentals of horse training, including longeing, working in the round pen, driving, bitting, riding, rein aids, lateral work, and basic training techniques. Equipment, safety and horse "psychology" also are taught.Prerequisite: ANS 222 Young Horse Training or instructor's approval.
