Prerequisites: Minimum keyboarding speed of 20 correct words per minute or higher without watching the fingers or the keyboard or concurrent enrollment in IT 100, Introduction to Keyboarding This course satisfies the computer literacy requirement for all students and should be taken during the first semester. Students will develop skill in the use of computer hardware, operating system, networks, Internet, electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheets, and electronic presentations. Students will have the opportunity to earn an IC3 Certification as part of this course. Students who have earned an IC3 Certification prior to coming to LDS Business College can present their certification transcript to the registrar to earn a passing grade (P) for the course.
