Description:

This course provides students with selected experiences to provide practical clinical experience under the direct supervision of a physical therapist/physical therapist assistant and instruction of LCCC's clinical coordinator, to meet entry-level PTA requirements. This clinical experience gives students the opportunity to correlate didactic coursework with clinical skills. Students are required to complete a minimum of 280 hours of clinical at an affiliate site that provides physical therapy services. In addition, students must complete a mandatory competency capstone for the program. Prerequisite: Completion of PTAT 2970.
