Description:

Students gain an appreciation for small instrumental chamber ensemble music through performing and listening. This course combines group instruction and performance on similar instruments in an ensemble setting. The musical literature focuses on original works for string instruments from various stylistic periods in music history. May be repeated for up to eight times for credit. Prerequisite: Prior performance experience on a brass instrument and instructor approval.
