A course where students acquire an overview of maintaining a set of accounting records and preparing financial statements for a sole proprietorship. There will be heavy concentration on recording general ledger entries. Topics include bank reconciliations, cash funds, payroll and special journals. Prerequisites: Completion of DVST 0510 or ENGL 0510 and MATH 0920 (or equivalent placement test scores) or concurrent enrollment.
