Classroom work giving verbatim translations and reversing materials. There is an emphasis on the use of tapes and simulated situations, vocabulary development, word endings and the use of temporary signs are discussed. Students will learn to translate simultaneously from manual to spoken English. Three lecture hours. Three semester hours credit. Prerequisite: IDT 2123.
