An advanced level course in ASL. An expansion of sign vocabulary to include English and deaf idioms and their proper use in both languages. Concentration will be given toward proficiency in both ASL and methods of simultaneous translating for hearing-impaired people who communicate in various forms of manual English. Three lecture hours.
