This course is designed to train students in the techniques considered the responsibility of the basic life support EMT, according to National Standard DOT curricula. The program consists of lecture and clinical instruction, and is taught in conjunction with the EMT Advanced Practical Skills/Techniques and CPR courses. Successful completion of the course will allow the student to challenge the Kansas State Registry exam. Prerequisite: First Responder
