This course is designed to provide the student with an introduction to computers and information technology ITfor students desiring to learn what a computer is, how a computer functions, how a computer is controlled, and how computers are applied to the solution of business and related problems in modern society. Extensive hands-on learning of the Windows environment, the World Wide Web, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft PowerPoint will be employed in this course.
