This course covers those skills needed to effectively implement group care for infants and toddlers. Emphasis is placed upon utilizing developmentally appropriate practices in caring for and creating learning opportunities for this age group. This course includes the study of infant and toddler development with emphasis on how to create and maintain developmentally appropriate environments for very young children. Demonstration of the subject matter is included.
