Elementary Algebra is a developmental course intended to be a continuation of Fundamentals of Mathematics DEV 0324). Students will learn to simplify algebraic expressions, exponential expressions, polynomials, rational expressions, and radical expressions, factor quadratic and polynomial expressions, solve linear and quadratic equations, analyze and graph linear equations. Prerequisite: A grade of "C" or higherin Fundamental of Mathematics DEV 0324or appropriate placement scores. Not open to students with credit in College Algebra MAT 1023), Intermediate Algebra DEV 0334or higher.
