Prerequisite: None This course is designed to acquaint the student with common welding techniques and equipment used currently in trades and industry. Consideration is given to welding with arc and oxyacetylene in the various positions, hard surfacing, brazing, cutting, electrode selection, and metal identification. The student is expected to develop basic skills in general welding.
