Prerequisite: None This course emphasizes welding procedures, techniques, and equipment currently used in industry. Consideration is given to welding equipment design and implementation, shielded metallic arc welding, metal inert gas welding, tungsten inert gas welding, oxyacetylene welding and cutting, brazing, resistance welding, hard-surfacing, metallizing, air arc gouging, automated NC assisted welding and cutting, robot welding and weldment design.
