Prerequisite: Concurrent enrollment in theatre practicum This course is designed to provide both basic knowledge, technique and skills of theatrical make-up for the beginner as well as advanced skills, theory, and practice for the experienced student of theatre. Through laboratory experience, each student will be provided the opportunity to advance at a rate commensurate with previously acquired knowledge and skills. Course content will emphasize types of materials available to the actor and the technician and will expose the student to methods of using such materials in creating straight, character, and special make-up for the stage.
