Prerequisite: Completion of SURTK 120 with a grade of "C" or better This course is a continuation of introduction to surgical technology with emphasis on acquiring skills of scrubbing and assisting the circulator during surgical procedures in the operating room and delivery room. Specific areas of study include: surgical landmarks, surgical anatomy, incisions and terminology related to laparotomy, hernias, breast, veins, rectal, obstetrical and gynecological surgical procedures.
