Prerequisite: Acceptance to the Registered Nursing curriculum and concurrently enrolled in RNRS 210, BIOL 145 and RNRS 150 or completion with a grade of "C" or better This course is the study of nursing concepts to meet patient's basic needs. The emphasis is on human adaptation and the acquisition of skills and knowledge fundamental to the care of all patients. Clinical experiences assist the student to begin assessing the patients, utilizing nursing diagnosis, identifying measurable patient outcomes, developing nursing interventions with focus on the physiological mode.
