Prerequisite: None This course is designed to help prepare individuals with basic skills needed to safely operate arc welding units, and will deal with those topics suited to the individual's needs. The student will develop proficiency in the safe operation of the manual metallic shielded arc welding processes in the flat and horizontal positions. Usually taught in eight three-hour sessions. (formerly WLDTR 002)
