Prerequisite: None This course is an overview of the travel industry including: airlines, shipping lines, tour operators, wholesalers, charter operations, hotel representatives, car rental agencies, tourist offices, and travel agencies. Job related opportunities will be discussed. This course will also cover basic airline codes and terminology, reservation ethics and procedures, reservation records, buffer zones for tariff purposes, and travel insurance. Other "hospitality industry" issues will be included.
