Prerequisite: Department approval This course outlines advanced techniques in surgical technology and is a continuation of the fundamentals of surgical technology series. This course is a bridge between the previous surgical technology certificate and the Associates in Applied Science for Surgical Technology. This course will focus on suturing and knot tying techniques, professionalism and interpersonal skills, continuing education, resume writing, robotics, electricity, physics, and computer usage.
