Prerequisite: Completion of PHYS 220 and MATH 224 This course is a continuation of PHYS 220 concentrating on areas of electricity, optics, and modern physics. The content is designed for students majoring in engineering, mathematics or chemistry. Rigorous mathematical derivations are used to develop concepts in electromagnetic theory, wave-particle duality of light, and quantization.
