Prerequisite: Acceptance to Radiography Program This course introduces students to radiography and the role of the radiographer as a member of the health care team. Students become familiar with procedures to be followed when working with ionizing radiation and concepts of patient care. Anatomy and terminology of body systems related to the performance of radiography of the chest, abdomen, upper extremity, and lower extremity are also presented, with emphasis on positioning and image analysis.
